Dr Chantel da Silva grew up in Durban, and qualified from the Durban University of Technology with an M.Tech degree in Chiropractic. She is is a registered Chiropractor with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA), a member of the Paediatric Chiropractic South Africa (PCSA) and the Gauteng Association for Infant Mental Health(GAIMH-SA). She moved to Cape Town to be closer to her two nephews and grow professionally in the beautiful setting of the Mother City.
She founded Rise Chiropractic, 3 years ago with a very specific purpose, to be a place of support and guidance for families with a focus on promoting chiropractic, movement and a healthy mindset. She has a special interest in women's health, perinatal care and paediatrics. 80% of the patients that she see’s on a daily basis are either pregnant, postpartum or under the age of 3years old. Dr Chantel has also had the incredible opportunity to work at the Origin Family Centred Birth Hospital before they closed down, as well as currently being in practice with two Gynacologists Dr Krick and Dr Kenneth at Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital.
“I love what I do, and each day that I get to support woman and their families is a great day fulfilling my purpose.” When Dr Chantel isn’t in practice, running two businesses or creating social media content you’ll find her with her dog Keisha hiking Table Mountain or enjoying a lazy coffee with a friend at the local café.
